Starting a new AIACC affiliated Australian Cobberdog Club in Your Area.
The Australian Cobberdog is now being bred in a number of countries across the world. More than ever, it’s critical that many voices be heard in UNISON to ensure that the breed salvaged and revived from the ashes of past mistakes, be protected for our children and their children to enjoy through enduring generations as the same unique and amazing dog breed it currently is.
The goal of the AIACC is to have a network of affiliated clubs across the globe - all autonomous but working as a huge international team. This means we will have one voice yet the benefits of fundraising and membership fees will remain within each affiliate’s local area.
Each club will be chartered by the AIACC with particular requirements written into their constitutions and by laws, bearing in mind their own country’s federal and local laws. These pertain to the use of the AIACC name and logos, support and resources, but they also ensure that the club will operate with the same core values and operating bases as the Parent Club for the protection of the breed. This streamlines systems and sets protocols and it means when its needed we can all work together internationally to protect the breed.
